Claude Code & Codex for Business Users

A hands-on, two-session crash course on using Claude Code & Codex to automate your real work - email, research, documents, presentations, and more.

All of a sudden, AI can actually do your work.

Until recently, AI only lived in a chat window you'd visit. That's completely changed. Now, you can build your own personal agent.

Claude Code & Codex are the tools that make this possible, but most business users don't know where to start. This crash course shows you how to turn Claude Code & Codex into a personal work agent - one that reads your email, manages your calendar, builds slide decks, researches companies, drafts documents, and remembers how you like things done. We will cover both Claude Code & Codex so that you can use whichever agent is most relevant to you.

We'll walk through real workflows live, show you exactly how we've set up our own systems, and give you a framework for building yours. We'll also discuss the very real risks of using Claude Code & Codex and our thoughts on mitigating those risks.

Who this is for:

  • Business professionals who want to understand how they can use Claude Code or Codex to get their work done (professional or personal)
  • You're energized to learn and either want to actively experiment with Claude Code or Codex and are excited to watch hands-on how-to demonstrations
  • You do not need to be technical: We will not write any code. You will talk to Claude or Codex in English.

  • A clear understanding of what Claude Code and Codex can do for your work
  • Frameworks for optimizing how Claude and Codex work for you
  • Real examples you can adapt to your role and industry

FAQ

  • What's the difference between Claude Code and regular Claude?

Regular Claude is a chat window. Claude Code runs on your computer, can read and write files, connect to your tools, and take actions on your behalf. It’s a fundamentally different way of working with AI.

  • Do I need to know how to code?

No. Claude Code runs in a terminal, but you interact with it in plain English. We’ll show you everything you need to know.

  • What if I can't make one of the sessions?

Recordings are included with your registration. The sessions do build on one another.

  • Can I use this at work?

That depends on your company’s policies. Some attendees will use personal accounts to learn or will simply watch our demos to know what’s possible. You are responsible for following your own organization’s guidelines.

  • What systems can Claude Code connect to?

Email, calendar, Slack, Google Drive, OneDrive, CRMs, databases, websites, and more – through connectors called MCPs. Everyone’s setup is different, and we’ll show you how the connection model works so you can configure your own.

  • Is this safe? What about data privacy?

There are real risks to using Claude Code. We will discuss those risks and some potential mitigations. There is no way to eliminate all the risks. You are responsible for your own use of these tools.

  • Will you help me set up my specific tools?

We will not do personal troubleshooting – everyone’s setup is different. We’ll provide setup guides in advance, and Claude itself is surprisingly good at troubleshooting its own installation.
